Summary of publication
Ka tika ka ora – the Māori provider work programme is a key part of the Ministry of Health’s (the Ministry) work to support the further development of effective health and disability providers that are Māori owned and Māori governed (Māori health providers).
Ka tika ka ora brings together all the activities the Ministry and District Health Boards (DHBs) are planning to undertake to support Māori Providers in the 2009-2010 financial year. The purpose of this work is to provide a foundation for the Ministry and DHBs to build a consistent approach to supporting a strong body of Māori providers.

- Ministry and DHB policy around Māori providers
- examples of Ministry and DHB activities to support Māori providers.
