 Whānau Ora Awards
The Whānau Ora Awards seek to promote successful models of service delivery, or initiatives that increase whānau health and wellbeing by building on the strengths and assets of whānau and Māori communities.
 Hauora Māori Scholarships
The purpose of the Hauora Māori Scholarships is to assist students to undertake or complete an NZQA accredited course in health and disability studies, in order to build Māori workforce capacity in the sector.
 Māori Provider Development Scheme (MPDS)
The Māori Provider Development Scheme (MPDS) is funded annually by the Ministry of Health.
 Māori Provider Project
Te Kete Hauora is undertaking a project on Māori health and disability providers. The project will analyse and present enablers and barriers to Māori provider participation in health and disability service delivery. Also, embed activities to support Māori providers into Ministry of Health and DHB work programmes.
 District Health Board Elections
The District Health Board (DHB) elections are happening this year and we need your awhi and tautoko about health and disability.
 Traditional Māori Healing
Traditional healing includes mirimiri (massage) rongoa (herbal treatments) and karakia (spiritual prayer). Traditional healers incorporate the spiritual dimension in assessment and therapy, and do so in a culturally relevant way.
