About us

Whakatu Marae provides health and social services to whanau, hapu and iwi. It is owned by six iwi and is sited in the centre of Nelson with outreach workers in Marlborough and Motueka.

Health and disability services we offer

Registered Nurse; Diabetes Support; Heart Health; Kaumatua, Pakeke, Rangatahi and Tamariki WOF; Waka Ama, Taiaha Gym; Doctor; Physio; Massage Therapist; Kaimahi Palliative Care; Health Promotion; Aukati Kaipaipa; Social Work; Youth Work (22 Workers).
